What We Believe

Core Beliefs

God

We believe in the Trinity — three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are equally God, have precisely the same nature, and are without beginning or end.

Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, virgin-born to Mary, and lived a completely sinless life. He voluntarily suffered death on a cross, taking upon himself the penalty for our sin. He was buried and was physically resurrected, completing his work and providing our victory over both death and sin.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God's written revelation to man, and it is both authoritative and completely without error. The Scriptures were uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit and are all designed for our practical instruction.

Salvation

We believe that man was created for a close relationship with God, but he sinned and fell under God's judgment resulting in spiritual alienation from God and physical death. All of mankind has inherited this state and is completely unable to rescue themselves by their own merit or to restore their position of close fellowship with God. God accomplished our rescue through Jesus' death on the cross and bodily resurrection. One's salvation is entirely by grace through personal faith in Jesus' completed work.
